2. Dual role of Panther Forensic
In accordance with the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and the General Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Obligated Subjects (LGPDPPSO), Panther Forensic acts under two differentiated roles depending on context:
- Data Controller
- When collecting personal data directly through its website, contact forms, commercial communications, sales processes, product demonstrations, and administrative processes. This privacy notice governs this role.
- Data Processor
- When, through specific contract, providing technological or support services to institutional clients who use its platforms. The processing of forensic, expert, or any other data processed by clients on these platforms is governed by the corresponding contractual agreements and by the client institution's own privacy notice, not by this document.
3. Personal data we collect
Panther Forensic collects the following personal data, depending on the channel of interaction:
3.1 Data collected through the contact form
- Full name
- Institutional email address
- Institution or organization affiliation
- Role or position (optional)
- Content of the message provided
- Automatic technical data: IP address, submission date and time, navigation language
3.2 Data collected during commercial processes
- Additional professional and contact data
- Client or prospect institution information
- Information exchanged in meetings, demos, and communications
- Tax and billing data when a commercial relationship applies
3.3 Technical navigation data
- Information automatically provided by the browser (user-agent, language)
- Technical cookies necessary for site operation
- Data generated by security verification services (Google reCAPTCHA v3)
4. Sensitive personal data
Panther Forensic DOES NOT collect sensitive personal data through its website or direct commercial channels. Specifically, we do not request through our forms:
- Genetic or biometric information of individuals
- Health data or medical information
- Data on racial or ethnic origin
- Information about sexual orientation
- Data on union, political, or religious affiliation
- Financial information from cards or bank accounts
If you believe it necessary to share sensitive information in the context of a technical inquiry, we recommend not including it in the web form and instead coordinating a secure communication channel.
Declaration on forensic data processed in our products
The IdenticoreADN and VerumLIMS platforms are deployed exclusively on client infrastructure (on-premise deployment). Panther Forensic does not receive, store, or process genetic, expert, victim, missing person, or any sensitive data processed by client institutions through these platforms. All operational information remains at all times under the physical and logical control of the client institution.
5. Purposes of processing
5.1 Primary purposes
Collected data is used for the following necessary purposes:
- Responding to information, quote, and contact requests submitted through the website
- Scheduling and conducting technical product demonstrations
- Maintaining commercial communication during evaluation and acquisition processes
- Providing technical support when a contractual relationship exists
- Fulfilling obligations arising from service contracts
- Issuing invoices and complying with tax obligations
- Responding to requirements from competent authorities
5.2 Secondary purposes
Additionally, and always subject to your consent, we may use your data for:
- Sending informational communications about new products or capabilities
- Invitations to events, webinars, or technical sessions
- Internal statistics on market interest and acquisition channels
- Case studies prepared in anonymized and aggregated form

6. Processing of job candidate data
This section applies specifically to persons submitting their application through the Careers section of the website.
Personal data collected from candidates

- Presentation message
- Curriculum Vitae in PDF format
- Selected area of professional interest
The CV may contain additional personal data voluntarily provided by the candidate (work history, education, location, photo, references, etc.). The candidate is responsible for the content they choose to include in their CV.
Specific purposes of processing
- Evaluate the candidate's suitability for current or future openings
- Contact the candidate for interview processes or additional information
- Maintain a candidate pool for future opportunities during the authorized retention period
We do not use this data for purposes other than candidate evaluation. We do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes nor include it in marketing databases.
Retention period
Candidate data, including the CV, is retained for a maximum period of 24 months from the date of application submission. After this period, the data will be securely deleted, unless the candidate has been hired, in which case the retention periods established by Mexican labor legislation will apply.
Early deletion
The candidate may request the early deletion of their data at any time by sending an email to privacidad@pantherforensic.com from the same address used in the application. Deletion will be processed within a maximum of 20 business days.
Secure storage
CVs are stored in infrastructure controlled by Panther Forensic, outside public access, with restricted access only to personnel authorized for selection processes. They are not stored in third-party cloud services without appropriate confidentiality agreements.
Explicit consent
Submission of an application through the Careers form requires the candidate's explicit consent via a checkbox authorizing the processing of data in accordance with this section. Without this consent, the application cannot be processed.
7. Personal data transfers
Panther Forensic may share your personal data with the following third parties solely for the purposes established herein:
- Hosting provider (cPanel)
- Company that hosts the website and processes institutional email. Location: Mexico. Purpose: technical site operation.
- Google LLC (reCAPTCHA v3)
- Bot verification service used in the contact form. Location: United States. Purpose: prevent automated abuse of the form. Governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4)
- Website usage measurement service. Activated only with your explicit consent through the cookie banner. Location: United States. Purpose: understand how the site is used (visited pages, traffic sources, aggregate behavior) to improve it. Configured with IP anonymization and without sharing data with Google Ads. You may revoke your consent at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
- Google LLC (Google Fonts)
- Web typography service. Location: United States. Purpose: visual presentation of the site. Processes only technical browser data.
- Competent authorities
- When there is a legally founded and motivated requirement from a competent Mexican authority, in accordance with applicable provisions.
For transfers to the United States, we inform you that this country does not have a level of data protection comparable to Mexico. However, the mentioned providers have documented privacy policies and security controls. By using the contact form, you grant your express consent for these transfers.
Panther Forensic does not sell, rent, or commercialize personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
8. Use of cookies and similar technologies
The pantherforensic.com site uses the following categories of cookies and local storage technologies:
- Strictly necessary cookies
- Indispensable for basic site operation (language selection, navigation state). Do not require consent.
- Security cookies (reCAPTCHA)
- Set by Google to validate human interaction on the contact form. Disabled upon browser closure or may be manually deleted.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)
- Used only with your explicit consent via the cookie banner. Allow us to measure how the site is used (visited pages, time on site, traffic sources). Configured with IP anonymization. You may revoke consent at any time through "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
We currently do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. If we implement marketing services in the future, this notice will be updated and we will request your additional consent.

9. ARCO Rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Opposition)
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access: know what personal data we have about you and how we use it
- Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Cancellation: request deletion of your data when you consider it is no longer necessary for any of the indicated purposes
- Opposition: oppose the use of your data for specific purposes
Procedure to exercise ARCO rights
To exercise any of these rights, send a request to the email privacidad@pantherforensic.com that includes:
- Full name of the data subject and email address to receive response
- Document evidencing your identity (copy of valid official ID) or, where applicable, legal representation of the data subject
- Clear and precise description of the personal data on which the right is to be exercised
- Any other element that facilitates location of the data
- In case of Rectification, documents supporting your request
Panther Forensic will respond to your request within a maximum period of 20 business days counted from the day following its receipt, in accordance with Article 32 of the LFPDPPP. The corresponding determination will be communicated to you through the same medium. If the request is found to be valid, it will be made effective within the 15 business days following the date on which the response is communicated.
10. Revocation of consent
You may revoke at any time the consent you have granted for the processing of your personal data. To do so, send a written request to privacidad@pantherforensic.com, including your full name, official identification, and clear manifestation of revocation.
The revocation of consent will not have retroactive effects on processing already performed in accordance with the law. In some cases, revocation may prevent the continuation of an existing contractual relationship when data is strictly necessary for its fulfillment.
11. Limitation of use or disclosure
You may request limitation of the use or disclosure of your personal data by sending express petition to privacidad@pantherforensic.com. Panther Forensic will attend to the request and, where appropriate, adopt the necessary technical and administrative measures to restrict processing.
12. Data retention
Panther Forensic will retain your personal data for the following periods:
- Contact messages without subsequent commercial relationship: up to 2 years from the last interaction
- Active client data: during the validity of the commercial relationship and up to 5 years after its termination, for legal and tax obligations
- Accounting and tax data: in accordance with the periods of the Federal Tax Code (5 years minimum)
- Technical security logs: up to 12 months
13. Security measures
Panther Forensic implements administrative, technical, and physical security measures that are reasonable and sufficient to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, use, access, or unauthorized processing, aligned with the guidelines of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard.
These measures include, among others:
- Data encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable
- Role-based access control and least privilege
- Audit logs of data access and manipulation
- reCAPTCHA security verification on public forms
- Automated abuse detection and prevention systems
- Procedures to respond to security incidents
Despite these measures, no system is completely invulnerable. If an incident significantly affecting patrimonial or moral rights of data subjects were detected, Panther Forensic will inform in accordance with Article 20 of the LFPDPPP.
14. Changes to the privacy notice
Panther Forensic reserves the right to modify or update this privacy notice at any time, whether due to legal changes, commercial practices, or services provided. Changes will take effect upon publication on this same website.
The last update date is indicated at the beginning of this document. We suggest periodically reviewing this page to stay informed about how we handle your personal data.
15. Applicable legal framework and jurisdiction
The processing of personal data described in this notice is governed by:
- Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulation
- General Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Obligated Subjects (LGPDPPSO), when applicable in interactions with obligated subjects
- Guidelines issued by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI)
For the interpretation and fulfillment of this notice, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, waiving any other that may correspond to them by reason of present or future domicile.
