No. Accreditation is granted to the laboratory by the accreditation body, not to software. VerumLims is designed to meet the standard's operational requirements and provides the records and traceability that support it.
Does VerumLims replace the quality management system?
No. It automates the control points the standard requires in operations and feeds auditable data to the quality management system. Management review decisions are still made there.
What is ALCOA+?
It is a set of data integrity principles requiring every record to be attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate, as well as complete, consistent, enduring and available.
